Ice Fishing Safari in Iso-Syöte – Discover the Peace of Arctic Winter

Hop on a snowmobile and head out to a local frozen lake for a true Finnish ice fishing experience! Guided by a local expert, you’ll ride through snowy landscapes to the best fishing spots and learn the secrets of catching fish beneath the ice.

During the trip, you’ll enjoy campfire-brewed coffee and relax in the heart of winter nature. This peaceful moment in the quiet wilderness is the perfect way to unwind and embrace the serene side of Lapland.

• Duration: approx. 3 hours
• Price: €145 / adult / shared driving (two persons per snowmobile) 
• Price: €195 / adult / single rider (one person per snowmobile)
• Children who can reach the snowmobile’s footboard and sit safely — usually around 140 cm in height — may ride behind a parent. Smaller children will be seated in a sled pulled by the snowmobile guide. The final decision is always made by the safari guide for safety reasons.

• Departure for the safaris is from the Hotel Iso-Syöte lobby. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the program, or 30 minutes beforehand if you do not yet have your safari equipment.
• Safari equipment can be collected from the safari room on weekday mornings between 8:30–9:30. Snowmobile helmets are provided at the start of the safari.
