Iso-Syöte canoeing kanoottiretki

Summer Activities

Located at the southern edge of Lapland, Iso-Syöte is the perfect base for summer activities in Finland’s Arctic hills. Surrounded by Syöte National Park, this untouched landscape of forests, fells and rivers offers endless ways to explore – under the glow of the midnight sun.

Guided Outdoor Experiences

Join one of our guided tours and connect deeply with the nature around you. Try Nordic Walking around Kellarilampi, paddle across still waters during the Canoe Safari on Lake Naamanka, or follow the gentle current of the Pärjänjoki River by canoe. For those seeking a splash of adventure, River Tubing brings a thrilling ride downstream.

Fishing and Local Traditions

Experience the peaceful rhythm of fly-fishing in the river, or cast your line from the banks during our forest fishing safari. You can also visit a local husky farm to meet the dogs and learn how they’re trained for winter adventures.

Explore at Your Own Pace

Prefer to roam freely? Rent a mountain bike, e-bike or fatbike and discover scenic trails right from the hotel. And for a true taste of the Arctic, don’t miss the Wild Food Experience at a nearby farm, where you’ll learn about local ingredients and enjoy a homemade meal.
