Visit by snowmobiles to a reindeer camp at 10.00
Embark on a thrilling snowmobile safari through snow-blanketed forests and frozen lakes, taking in the breathtaking winter landscape. Your journey leads to a traditional reindeer camp, where you’ll experience the timeless Sámi way of life.
Glide through the snow in a sled pulled by reindeer, and warm up inside a cozy kota (Lappish hut) with steaming hot drinks and sweet buns. Listen to the reindeer herder as they share captivating stories about reindeer and the deep-rooted traditions of reindeer herding, offering a glimpse into the Arctic’s unique cultural heritage.

Husky safari 12 km and visit to a husky farm by car at 10.30
Set off on a journey by car to a husky farm, where enthusiastic sled dogs eagerly await your arrival. After a warm introduction and instructions, enjoy an exhilarating husky sled ride through snowy forests and over frozen lakes, with stops for driver swaps and photo opportunities along the way.

Snowshoe hiking trip at 14.00
Start from the hotel with a quick snowshoeing tutorial, then trek through the deep snow on the Iso-Syöte hilltop area. Enjoy breathtaking views, nature’s snow sculptures, and spot animal tracks. Warm up with hot drinks and cookies during the break!

Northern light safari at 20.00
Embark on a magical nighttime snowmobile safari offering a truly magical experience as you ride beneath twinkling stars, across majestic fells, and through enchanting snowy forests. Along the way, we’ll stop to marvel at the starlit sky and enjoy a cozy coffee break by an open campfire. And if you’re lucky, you might even witness the breathtaking Northern Lights!

- Departure for the safaris is from the Hotel Iso-Syöte lobby. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the program, or 30 minutes beforehand if you do not yet have your safari equipment.
- Safari equipment can be collected from the safari room on weekday mornings between 8:30–9:30. Snowmobile helmets are provided at the start of the safari.
