Adventures in the Nature
Step Into Arctic Silence on the Edge of Lapland
Hotel Iso-Syöte invites you to discover the magic of the snowy north — perched high on a felltop at the southern edge of Finnish Lapland. Here, winter offers more than cold and snow; it delivers silence, space, and true connection with Arctic nature.
Join guided snowshoe treks into untouched forests, where the only sounds are the crunch of snow and the crackle of a campfire as you enjoy traditional coffee outdoors. Glide along scenic trails on a kicksled, or hike into the peaceful depths of Syöte National Park to explore the hidden gorge of Vattukuru — a natural gem even more enchanting in winter.
Ice fishing on frozen lakes, sipping warm berry juice under the open sky, or skiing through forested trails and downhill slopes just steps from the hotel — these are the adventures that define the Iso-Syöte experience.
Whether you’re looking for gentle exploration or active days outdoors, this Arctic escape on the edge of Lapland offers the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness.
