Discover Lapland’s Traditions with a Reindeer Sleigh Ride

Experience a magical reindeer sleigh ride through Lapland’s snowy wilderness. Glide peacefully across pristine, snow-covered landscapes in the company of these gentle Arctic animals.

After your ride, relax inside a traditional Lappish “kota” hut, where you’ll warm up with hot drinks and freshly baked Finnish pastry. Enjoy a rustic lunch by the open fire as you roast sausages like the locals do.

A local reindeer herder will share stories about the reindeer’s year-round life and the deep-rooted traditions of Sámi culture. This unforgettable Arctic experience blends breathtaking nature with local heritage—offering you a true taste of Lapland’s enchanting spirit.

• Departure for the safaris is from the Hotel Iso-Syöte lobby. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the program, or 30 minutes beforehand if you do not yet have your safari equipment.
• Safari equipment can be collected from the safari room on weekday mornings between 8:30–9:30. Snowmobile helmets are provided at the start of the safari.
