Hunting the Magical Northern Lights

Get ready for an unforgettable journey under the Arctic sky! The Northern Lights are one of nature’s most stunning spectacles. While their appearance can never be guaranteed, when they do dance across the night sky, it’s truly magical. Even if the auroras remain hidden, the experience is still unforgettable – imagine standing in complete silence, surrounded by a million twinkling stars.

We’ll board a comfortable bus from the hotel and head out to a carefully chosen location, ideal for spotting the auroras. Warm up by an open fire with coffee and Finnish pulla as your guide shares stories of the northern night. Whether the lights appear or not, this journey promises to leave you with lasting memories.

• Departure for the safaris is from the Hotel Iso-Syöte lobby. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the program, or 30 minutes beforehand if you do not yet have your safari equipment.
• Safari equipment can be collected from the safari room on weekday mornings between 8:30–9:30. Snowmobile helmets are provided at the start of the safari.
