The Phoenix Suite: A Symbol of Renewal

The Phoenix Suite is one of the signature experience-rich suites at Hotel Iso-Syöte, each uniquely themed to reflect the essence of Syöte. The Phoenix Suite, symbolizing a new beginning, was created to honor the hotel’s resurgence after the fire of December 2018.

Located on the second floor, the suite (90 m²) features a striking interior designed by Tatu Ahlroos, showcasing charred panels and ash-inspired tones.

Guests can unwind in the private sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, or by the open fireplace, surrounded by a soothing, earthy atmosphere.

The suite offers sweeping views of the hilltops, the valley below, and the northern sky.

Your stay includes a delicious breakfast at Restaurant Hilltop, access to the Arctic Spa, and the Skywalk rooftop terrace.

The expansion work of Hotel Iso-Syöte began after Easter 2025, and the construction site is located near the Bear Cave and Phoenix suites. On weekdays, some noise from the site may be heard in the suites, and the windows facing the ski slope offer a view of the construction area. Due to the expansion work, we are now offering the Bear Cave and Phoenix suites at an exceptionally low price between June 6 and November 31, 2025.
