Customers and partners have once again voted Hotel Iso-Syöte the best ski boutique hotel in Finland. The annual award ceremony, which is sometimes referred to as the “Oscars of the skiing sector”, was held on Saturday 23 November in Kitzbühel, Austria.

The World Ski Awards event was organised for the seventh time, and industry leaders were awarded in the ‘Best Ski Resort’, ‘Best Ski Hotel’, ‘Best Ski Boutique Hotel’ and ‘Best Ski Chalet’ categories. Hotel Iso-Syöte’s owners, Juha and Katariina Kuukasjärvi, were in Austria to receive the prize.

“It’s great to receive this kind of recognition, especially after all the challenges we’ve had this year. We’re in a good place to start a new season and face new experiences,” say the Kuukasjärvis.

Hotel Iso-Syöte has charmed its guests time and time again: Hotel Iso-Syöte has won Finland’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel award in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The Iso-Syöte Ski Resort won its third victory in the category ‘Finland’s Best Ski Resort’, so the whole of the Syöte area is going really strong.

Expect wonderful things to happen when we open our new experience suite, Phoenix, and our Arctic Spa, which will be more spacious and will offer a wider range of services than the former spa. Hotel Iso-Syöte’s range of rooms will soon expand as 12 new Star Superior rooms become available for the 2020-2021 winter season.
