Hotel Iso-Syöte offers a variety of reindeer safaris, from traditional reindeer tours to visits to a reindeer farm.

A genuine old-fashioned reindeer safari in a sleigh pulled by a caravan of reindeer – that’s what we call an experience. When sleigh riding this three-kilometre track across the wonderful landscape, all you’ll hear is the soughing of the sleigh and the thrashing of reindeer hooves.

A reindeer herder will tell you interesting stories about how reindeer are affected by the seasons and about life on a reindeer farm. Hot drinks and buns are served during the safari, and you will also fry sausages on an open fire in a Kota hut.
