Ranua Zoo & Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle
A day trip to Ranua Wildlife Park and the Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi offers an abundance of northern experiences. The first stop is Ranua Wildlife Park (entrance fee approx. EUR 20, not included in the price of the trip), and from Ranua, the journey continues to Rovaniemi, where we visit Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle. We return to Iso-Syöte in the afternoon.

Kicksledding
A kicksledding trip lets you experience speed and lifts your spirits. It’s a truly Finnish way of moving around on the snow-covered paths. Have great fun gliding down the hills on your kicksled, then make your way back up by kicking with one leg while standing and letting the other one rest on the glider. Kicksledding requires a bit of strength and oomph, but it’s a very entertaining way to enjoy the snow and the great outdoors on the top of Iso-Syöte.

Ice Fishing
An ice fishing trip starts with a drive to a beautiful wilderness pond. The guide teaches participants the technique of ice fishing and gives advice on good spots for fishing. However, everyone is free to decide where they want to fish and to try their luck at fishing. You can be quite sure to catch one or two here! A coffee break is, of course, part of any ice fishing trip.
